Almost everyone experiences knee pain in the front of the knee joint at some point. It is a common form of knee pain. Knee pain usually arises at the front of the knee joint due to extra stress on the knee and the adjacent knee ligaments, cruciate ligaments and muscles.
The active GenuTrain S knee brace with hinged rigid ribs supports the knee joint in the event of mild instability, arthritis or gonarthrosis. An integrated ring-shaped viscoelastic pad encloses the patella and reduces knee pain at the front of the knee joint. The combination of hinges and non-elastic Velcro straps of the GenuTrain S give the knee extra support.

The Genutrain S is available in three different colours. Titan (grey), Black or Natur. If you would like a color other than Titan (standard), please contact customer service.
How to measure
You can easily determine the correct GenuTrain S size yourself. It is best to stand up and keep your leg bent at approximately 30 degrees. Then measure:
1. Lower leg circumference 12 cm below the knee joint
2. Upper leg circumference 14 cm above the knee joint
You can then easily determine the correct size in the table below.

Washing can cause the calcium in the water to adhere to the brace’s material. This can cause the hinges to make a creaking sound as they move along the fabric during bending and stretching. This sound usually disappears after a few wears. If you have very hard water in your area, adding a small amount of vinegar during the wash can sometimes solve the problem.
