Evenup Shoe Lift – Prevent uneven walking with a walking boot or walker
Do you wear a walking boot, walker or orthosis that causes one leg to be higher than the other? If so, you may quickly notice that you start walking unevenly. This can place extra strain on the back, hips and knees.
The OPED EVENup Shoe Lift helps compensate for the height difference between both legs. This allows for a more stable, natural and comfortable walking pattern while wearing a walking boot, walker or orthosis.
The shoe lift is adjustable in three heights: 1.5 cm, 1.9 cm and 2.8 cm. This allows you to better match the height to your walker, walking boot or orthosis for a more natural gait and improved walking comfort.
Indications OPED EVENup Shoe Lift
The OPED EVENup Shoe Lift is suitable for temporary leg length differences or pelvic imbalance up to approximately 4 cm, for example:
- After foot or ankle surgery requiring a post-op shoe or Darco shoe;
- During use of a cast shoe or walking cast;
- While wearing a walker, for example after cast treatment or an Achilles tendon rupture;
- Temporary compensation for trochanteric bursitis (hip bursitis);
- Leg length difference after a knee or hip prosthesis;
- Complaints caused by height differences during rehabilitation.

A great solution for a 3cm leg length discrepancy following hip surgery. You have to figure everything out yourself at an orthopedist’s. A very high insole is almost impossible, and then I saw this one and bought it. So happy with it, I’ve been using it for 7 months now. One layer less now. I had insoles made for my shoe at the Orthopedic Center; it feels like a heavy, hard lump; it doesn’t bend, so I can’t walk in it. Thanks to this article of yours, I can walk without back pain.
