GenuTrain S Knee Brace – The hybrid below the knee braces!
Almost everyone experiences knee pain in the front of the knee joint at some point. It is a common form of knee pain. Knee pain usually arises at the front of the knee joint due to extra stress on the knee and the adjacent knee ligaments, cruciate ligaments and muscles.
The active GenuTrain S knee brace with hinged rigid ribs supports the knee joint in the event of mild instability, arthritis or gonarthrosis. An integrated ring-shaped viscoelastic pad encloses the patella and reduces knee pain at the front of the knee joint. The combination of hinges and non-elastic Velcro straps of the GenuTrain S give the knee extra support.

How to determine the right size
You can easily determine the correct GenuTrain S size yourself. For the most accurate measurement, stand up and bend your leg to approximately 30 degrees. If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the smaller of the two. The GenuTrain S is available in separate left and right versions.
Then measure:
- Lower leg circumference: 12 cm below the knee joint
- Thigh circumference: 14 cm above the knee joint
You can then use the table below to easily determine the correct size.

Washing and care instructions
To maintain the lifespan and performance of your Bauerfeind GenuTrain S Knee Brace, we recommend following the care instructions below.
- Wash at 30 °C: Wash the knee brace separately at a maximum temperature of 30 °C using a delicate cycle and a mild detergent. Before washing, remove the hinged stays from their pockets and loosen all hook-and-loop fasteners. Then close the fasteners again to prevent damage to the brace and other clothing.
- Cleaning the hinged stays: Do not wash the hinged stays in the washing machine. Simply clean them with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not bleach: Do not use bleach, as this may damage the material.
- Do not iron: The knee brace is not suitable for ironing.
- Do not dry clean: Do not dry clean the brace.
Following these care instructions will help maintain the fit, support and lifespan of your knee brace.
