Bauerfeind LumboLoc Back Brace – Stabilising Back Brace for the Lower Back
The Bauerfeind LumboLoc is a firm back brace designed to stabilise and relieve the lumbar spine in cases of acute and chronic lower back pain. The brace surrounds the torso with firm compression knit fabric and supports the lower back with integrated corset stays. This helps support the lumbar spine in a more upright position and can reduce strain on the lower back.
The LumboLoc is suitable for general lower back pain, moderate degenerative conditions, weakened core muscles and facet syndrome, among other conditions. In cases of lumbago, the firm support can also help relieve the painful lower back.
Despite its firm support, the back brace is relatively thin, lightweight and breathable. This allows the LumboLoc to fit closely to the body and be worn discreetly under clothing.
Stabilisation of the lumbar spine with corset stays
The Bauerfeind LumboLoc features integrated corset stays at the back. These support the lumbar spine and help keep the lower back in a more upright position. If necessary, the stays can be individually adjusted to the shape of the back by an orthopaedic specialist.
The combination of the corset stays and circular compression provides firm support for the torso. This helps stabilise and relieve the lumbar spine during everyday activities.
Train knit supports the core muscles
The firm Train knit of the LumboLoc provides compression around the torso. During movement, the material provides slight resistance. This stimulates the stabilising abdominal and back muscles to actively contribute to the stability of the lower back.
The hook-and-loop closure at the front allows you to secure the brace firmly and comfortably around the torso. Practical hand loops also make it easier to put on and tighten the LumboLoc independently.

Care instructions for the Bauerfeind LumboLoc
The Bauerfeind LumboLoc can be washed gently at a maximum temperature of 30 °C. Do not use bleach and allow the brace to air dry. The LumboLoc is not suitable for tumble drying or dry cleaning. Always follow the instructions on the sewn-in care label when washing.
