The active GenuTrain® bandage is made from an anatomically shaped circular knit. A visco-elastic ‘omega’ pad has been placed in this breathable knit. This pad is placed in such a way that it supports the kneecap and is provided with two ‘hoffa pads’ to support the kneecap. In addition to support, the GenuTrain® bandage also has a pain-relieving effect over the knee in various (starting) knee complaints and injuries.

How do you measure the Bauerfeind Genutrain Knee Brace?
The dimensions are very important to fully utilize a GenuTrain. To guarantee an even better fit, the GenuTrain is now also available in ‘Plus sizes’ . This is especially recommended for conical thighs.
You measure the circumference standing, with the knee slightly bent. Then you can choose the correct size in the table below. The GenuTrain can be worn both left and right.

Washing and care instructions
To preserve the quality and effectiveness of your Bauerfeind GenuTrain for as long as possible, we recommend following the washing and care instructions below:
- Do not bleach: do not use bleaching agents, as these may damage the material.
- Do not iron: the GenuTrain is not suitable for ironing.
- Do not dry clean: do not have the knee support professionally or chemically cleaned.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 °C: gently wash the knee support at a maximum temperature of 30 °C, preferably using a mild detergent without fabric softener.
Allow the GenuTrain to air-dry after washing. Do not use a tumble dryer or place it near a direct heat source, as this may affect its fit, elasticity and supportive properties.
