The TurboMed XTERN SUMMIT AFO (Ankle Foot Orthosis) stands out from other foot drop braces because it is specifically designed for sports and prolonged, high-intensity use. The TurboMed XTERN SUMMIT attaches to the outside of the shoe using a patented exoskeleton system, meaning the shoe’s internal fit is not affected in any way.
As a result, the XTERN SUMMIT can easily be mounted onto (high-cut) hiking boots, walking shoes, work boots, sports shoes, and even running shoes. The brace supports natural ankle movements without restricting them, making it exceptionally comfortable to wear and giving users the confidence to resume athletic activities. At the same time, it helps maintain muscle strength and the natural mobility of the foot.

To guarantee optimal fitting and functionality, we supply the XTERN SUMMIT exclusively in combination with a free consultation at our main location in Amersfoort.
During this consultation (by appointment only), a trial fitting is first performed so you can personally experience the effect of the XTERN SUMMIT. Together, we determine whether the brace is suitable for your condition. If the trial is positive, we proceed with the final fitting of the product. At our Amersfoort location, we have a fully equipped orthopedic workshop, allowing us to precisely adjust the orthosis to your needs while you wait.
After placing your order, we will contact you to schedule your fitting and delivery appointment (approximately 75 minutes, included in the price).

Important Notice
If, during the trial fitting, it appears that the TurboMed XTERN SUMMIT is not the most suitable solution for you, we can discuss alternative products from our range. If you decide not to proceed before the final adjustment is made, your order amount will be refunded. However, consultation costs (charged per 20 minutes) will be deducted from the refund.
Please note: because the TurboMed XTERN SUMMIT is individually customized after the trial fitting, the 14-day online return policy does not apply. Once delivered, the product cannot be returned, as it cannot be re-adjusted for another user. For this reason, the brace is supplied exclusively with a trial fitting, ensuring you clearly understand its function and benefits beforehand.
