Bauerfeind Sports Achilles Support – Achilles Tendon Brace for Sports
The Bauerfeind Sports Achilles Support is a sports brace designed to support the Achilles tendon and ankle during exercise. The brace combines light compression with a specially shaped Achilles Pad around the Achilles tendon. During movement, this pad provides an alternating pressure massage to the area surrounding the tendon.
The Sports Achilles Support has been specially developed for use during longer and more intensive training sessions and competitions. The anatomically shaped knitted fabric fits closely around the ankle and Achilles tendon without unnecessarily restricting natural freedom of movement.
Thanks to the lightweight and breathable 3D AirKnit material, the brace remains comfortable during sports. Different compression zones also support proprioception and help activate the stabilising muscles around the foot and ankle more effectively.
Achilles Pad for Targeted Achilles Tendon Support
The integrated Achilles Pad surrounds the Achilles tendon and works together with the compression fabric during movement. Small nodules and two pressure points in the lower section of the pad provide targeted stimulation to the area surrounding the Achilles tendon.
The alternating pressure massage stimulates the surrounding tissue and supports local metabolism. This may help reduce swelling and fluid accumulation around the Achilles tendon. Perforations in the pad help keep it lightweight and breathable.
Support During Running and Other Sports
The Bauerfeind Sports Achilles Support is designed to support the ankle and Achilles tendon without significantly restricting your freedom of movement during sports. The light compression improves body awareness around the ankle joint and thereby supports the activation of the stabilising muscles.
Comfort zones and a pressure-free edge ensure a comfortable fit. The seam at the front has been moved to the side to help reduce friction underneath the foot and on the instep.

Who Is the Bauerfeind Sports Achilles Support Suitable For?
The Bauerfeind Sports Achilles Support is particularly suitable for athletes who experience mild Achilles tendon complaints during training or competition, or who would like additional support around the Achilles tendon and ankle.
