The Thuasne Epi Med elbow brace helps with tendon pain, such as the so-called tennis or golfer’s elbow (Epicondylitis humeri) and similar muscle and tendon attachment irritations or inflammation and overloading of the forearm muscles.
However, it is not recommended to use the brace for severe swelling, large bruises, injuries or skin diseases. Inquire first with a specialist.
Operation of the Thuasne epi Med elbow brace
In a tennis or golfer’s elbow, the bone membrane, the attachment (tendon) and the muscle are irritated. This brace provides a pleasant mechanical relief of the tendon attachment on the outside of the elbow (m. Extensor carpi radialis longus), relieves the bone, the entire tendon and part of the muscle abdomen. The brace is very comfortable and has an optimal fit. The pressure that the brace provides changes the angle that loads the adhesion. The stretch of the forearm tendon is also reduced and thus also the tensile force on the tendon attachment, which will drastically reduce overload and pain.
