Do you have bad posture and / or a nagging pain in your back or neck? The GO Medical Upper Back Straight Holder pulls your shoulder belt backwards so that you always remain upright and your pain disappears! More information
Drooping shoulders and a crooked back can cause various complaints. The muscle tension often associated with the wrong posture can cause a headache or a nagging feeling between the shoulder blades. The GO Medical Upper back Straight holder pulls the shoulder girdle back (retraction). This removes the tension on the tissues in the upper back and improves posture.
The GO Medical Upper Back Straight Holder can also be used in the recovery of a collarbone fracture. The hospital does not always provide support. This brace ensures that the fracture on the collarbone cannot become too large, so that it heals in a beautiful way.
Are you looking for a back straight holder with the more comfort because you want to wear it for a longer period, then we recommend our back straight holder deluxe!

For the correct size, measure the circumference of your torso under the armpits. You can then find the right size in the table below.
If you are in between sizes, we recommend size 2.
| Size | Circumference torso |
|---|---|
| 1 | 70 – 110 cm |
| 2 | 110 – 135 cm |

The brace looks good, but I still had too much pain under my armpits

OK for now

It does provide some support to help you walk more upright, but after a while, it creeps up a bit. Then, with a correction, it fits properly again.

Unfortunately, if you’re alone, it’s a bit tricky to put on this Upper Back Support yourself. You’ll probably want some help with this.
Once it’s in place, it works perfectly.

A great-fitting and functional brace. Easy to put on, like a backpack, and take off like a T-shirt over your head.
Very easy to adjust. It takes a little practice, but you get the hang of it.
Works great, especially at a desk/while doing paperwork/gaming.

It doesn’t work for me, but it also improves my figure. The product is otherwise good quality and delivered quickly.

If this back support is properly fitted, it does its job well. However, it doesn’t stay in place, no matter how tight you tighten it. When you roll your shoulders (which you do much more often than you’d think in your daily activities), it rides up. Furthermore, it only helps you if it’s really tight, because otherwise, a. it shifts quickly and b. it has so much space that you can still easily sit with your shoulders and back hunched forward. It’s uncomfortable for the first few days, but like all discomforts, you get used to it, and it becomes somewhat comfortable to let your shoulders hang in it.
Once this “brace” is properly fitted (if you don’t move for a few minutes), you can barely see it under your clothes. However, as soon as it slides up, the two plastic guides of the adjustment strap form two points on your back, making it always visible. I wear a shirt and a thick cardigan over it.
Unfortunately, the design isn’t great. The point where the two loops meet will always be centered between your shoulders and not right in the middle of your upper back (with the hooks where the adjustment loops are located exactly at armpit height) where it should be. I feel like a woman in an ill-fitting bra; I spend all day hoisting those straps over my shoulders…

Really great! Since I started wearing this upper back brace, I sit much more upright at my computer and in front of the television. I only wear it during those times, because I think all day is excessive. Cheers, Karin
