This Hallux valgus front foot sock can be worn in shoes during the day as well as at night. The big toe is separated from the rest of the toes by a silicone adapter and the ‘knuckle’ on the side is protected by a gel pad.

The Hallux Valgus Forefoot Sock with bunion protector is an ideal aid when your big toe is turned inwards. This product has a number of advantages over other toe spreaders during the day and at night. For example, the front foot sock contains a bunion protector in addition to a silicone toe spreader. A bunion is an irritated and / or swollen area at the base of the big toe. The bunion protector ensures that the pain in this area is relieved when you wear shoes that press on this area.
Unlike some other toe spreaders, the front foot sock can also be used very well at night. Because the sock goes around the foot, the silicone parts stay perfectly in place. This makes this front foot sock a good alternative for a night splint, if you find a night splint too hard. The toe spreader corrects the position of the big toe, so that the Hallux Valgus is not aggravated.
TIP!!! For a longer product lifespan, we recommend wearing the forefoot sock with the silicone spacers positioned on the inside of the fabric.

I’m not very happy with this product. I find the silicone toe separator very thick and it slips very easily, even in shoes or with just socks on. The same applies to wearing it at night; even when I wear it inside out, the silicone part feels very thick and pushes the toe up next to the big toe, which is uncomfortable.
