E-life – Epi Med Elbow Brace
The E-life Epi Med elbow brace provides relief for tennis or golfer’s elbow (Epicondylitis humeri lateralis or medialis), as well as similar irritations or inflammations of muscles, tendon attachments, or overuse complaints of the forearm muscles. However, it is not recommended to use the brace for severe swelling, large bruises, injuries, or skin diseases. In these cases, always consult a specialist.
Function of the E-life epi Med elbow brace
In tennis or golfer’s elbow, the periosteum, the attachment (tendon), and the muscle become irritated. This brace provides pleasant mechanical relief to the tendon attachment on the outer side of the elbow (m. extensor carpi radialis longus), relieves the periosteum, the entire tendon, and part of the muscle belly. The brace is very comfortable and offers an optimal fit. The pressure exerted by the brace changes the loading angle of the attachment. Additionally, the brace reduces the strain on the forearm tendon, reducing the occurring tensile force on the tendon attachment and significantly reducing overuse and pain.
