The STEETS Steady Stand is an innovative accessory that transforms almost any standard elbow crutch or walking cane into a self-standing mobility aid. Thanks to its innovative folding mechanism, you no longer need to lean your crutch against a wall, table or chair. Simply place it on the ground, and it will remain standing upright within easy reach.
The STEETS Steady Stand is supplied as a single accessory (1 piece) for installation on an existing walking cane or elbow crutch. A walking cane or crutch is not included, and the product is supplied unassembled. The module is compatible with most standard crutches and walking canes featuring a round tube with a diameter of 17–22 mm at the lower section and 17–24 mm at the upper section.
The unique design automatically deploys the support legs when you place your crutch on the ground. As soon as weight is applied to the crutch again, the support legs automatically fold back in. This means the walking characteristics of your mobility aid remain unchanged while maintaining a natural walking motion.
The intelligent mechanism allows your crutch or walking cane to stand securely on its own when not in use, while preserving maximum walking comfort during use.
