Thanks to its compression technology and anatomical fit, the brace offers additional knee stability without restricting freedom of movement. The integrated Omega Pad supports the kneecap during movement and helps distribute pressure more evenly within the knee joint.
The brace contains mulesing-free merino wool for excellent wearing comfort and effective moisture and temperature regulation. In addition, the special Core Yarn Technology makes the knee brace extra durable and resistant to wear. The Downhill Relief System helps reduce pressure on the patellar tendon and the front of the knee, which is particularly beneficial during descents or longer hikes.

Point A: Measure 14 cm above the centre of the kneecap.

Hand wash the Bauerfeind Outdoor Knee Brace only in cold or lukewarm water. Do not use bleach and do not dry clean the brace. The brace is not suitable for tumble drying or ironing. Lay flat to dry after washing. Proper care helps maintain the appearance, durability and supportive properties of the brace.
Wear the brace together with supportive walking or hiking shoes and supportive insoles for optimal stability and pressure distribution. For intensive hiking trips, we recommend gradually increasing wear time so your knee can adapt to the compression and support.
