EVENup Shoe Lift – Prevent uneven walking with a walking cast or walker boot
Are you wearing a walking cast, walker boot or orthosis that makes one leg higher than the other? This can quickly cause you to walk unevenly and may place additional strain on your back, hips and knees.
The OPED EVENup Shoe Lift helps compensate for the height difference between both legs. This allows you to walk more steadily, naturally and comfortably while wearing a walker boot, walking cast or orthosis.
The shoe lift can be adjusted to three different heights: 1.5 cm, 1.9 cm and 2.8 cm. This allows you to better match the height to your walker boot, walking cast or orthosis for a more natural gait and greater walking comfort.
Indications for the OPED EVENup Shoe Lift
The OPED EVENup Shoe Lift is suitable for temporary leg length discrepancies or uneven posture of up to approximately 4 cm, for example:
- After foot or ankle surgery when wearing a postoperative shoe or Darco shoe;
- When using a walking cast or cast shoe;
- While wearing a walker boot, for example after cast treatment or an Achilles tendon rupture;
- Temporary compensation in cases of trochanteric bursitis (inflammation of the bursa in the hip);
- Leg length discrepancy following knee or hip replacement surgery;
- Complaints caused by a height difference during rehabilitation.
