A well-fitting knee brace can provide support during korfball without interfering. Knee braces can be divided into two types:
- Soft knee braces
- Rigid knee braces
A rigid knee brace is characterized by a rigid frame (such as carbon or aluminum) and hinges. These braces are not suitable for netball. A soft knee brace provides compression and support with (silicone) pads and / or flexible ribs.
With a hamstring injury or muscle tear, exercise and sports can be very painful. A good support bandage partly takes over the function of the muscle membranes and can support the muscle belly well. This will make it less painful to start exercising and exercising again. This type of thigh bandages should be pretty tight, but should not prevent blood flow.
