Cruciate ligament ruptures, injuries to the collateral ligaments, or meniscal surgery sometimes require the knee joint to be stabilized from the outside for a period of time. The SofTec® Genu is a light, but stable knee brace. The narrow aluminum frame is anatomically shaped, flat and fits comfortably. The breathable SofTec® vector knitting in combination with the Velcro straps on the front and back ensure a good fixation on the leg. In addition, the brace is easy to put on and take off.
The position of the rotation axis of the knee is different for everyone. The ‘intelligent’ hinges of the SofTec Genu automatically adapt to the personal rotary axis. As a result, the brace bends perfectly with the leg so that it will not shift and is comfortable around the leg.
The breathable SofTec® vector knit provides a healing-promoting massage with every movement. In case of injury to the cruciate ligament, meniscus and / or the collateral ligament, the protection and support of this brace ensures optimal recovery!

Determine Your Size
You can easily determine the correct size by measuring the circumference of your thigh 17 cm above the knee joint, the circumference of your knee directly over the kneecap, and the circumference of your lower leg 15 cm below the knee. Keep your knee slightly bent while measuring. You can then find the correct size in the table below. The SofTec Genu is available in both left and right versions.
