TurboMed Heel Bumper Kit – Accessory for XTERN AFO

The TurboMed Heel Bumper Kit is an accessory for the TurboMed XTERN Summit, Classic+ and Frontier EVO ankle-foot orthosis (AFO). This kit is specifically designed to improve the fit and stability of the brace when wearing shoes with a narrow, sloped, or tapered heel. In such cases, the brace may lack sufficient grip on the shoe, causing it to shift or function less effectively during walking.

The kit consists of small rubber bumpers that are attached to the heel area of the shoe. These bumpers create a raised contact surface, allowing the rear part of the brace to rest securely against the shoe. This prevents the brace from slipping down or shifting while walking. The result is an improved fit, increased stability, and optimal brace performance even with challenging shoe shapes.
