The ASO ankle brace provides effective support and stability around the ankle and is successfully used therapeutically for ankle disorders and problems, often caused by sports activities.
Basko ASO Ankle Brace – Worldwide favourite!
An ankle brace that is widely used for running, football, tennis, badminton and volleyball. The most important feature of the ASO ankle braces is the strap system (figure-8 strap), which ensures optimal fixation of the ankle joint and prevents inversion and eversion (the twisting of the ankle). The material (durable ballistic nylon) also contributes to long-lasting support. In addition, the ankle braces can be adjusted very well due to the lacing system at the front and the three main elements for a successful brace treatment are present: non-elastic bands, fixation of the calcaneus (heel bone) and a circular closure.

Determining your size of the ankle brace
The right size is very important to avoid irritations and pressure points. You can determine and select the right size based on your shoe size, heel/instep size and foot type. If you are on a limit size, we advise you to order the smaller size.
Note: The MedSpec A.S.O. can be worn both left and right. Unfortunately, the white variant is no longer made and we can only supply white while stocks last.
Tips:
- We recommend wearing a high (sports) sock under the brace to protect the skin against any stitching.
- Always close the Velcro fasteners after use to prevent tangling and contamination of the Velcro fastener.
- Preferably wash the ankle brace by hand or in a laundry net / pillowcase on a delicate wash program. Allow to air dry, do not spin!
